macOS (.dmg)

Note: This build is not signed with a current Apple Developer ID (the account is not renewed yet), so macOS may treat SpaceCrafting as an unknown developer. That is normal for this download.

1. Open the SpaceCraftingFree-v1.0.dmg file and drag the game into Applications.
2. The first time you open it, macOS may say the app cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified.
3. Easiest fix: In Finder, go to Applications, Control‑click (or right‑click) the SpaceCrafting app, choose Open, then click Open again in the dialog.
4. Alternative: Open System Settings → Privacy & Security. Scroll until you see a message that the app was blocked, and click Open Anyway (you may need to try launching once first so the button appears).
5. If Gatekeeper still complains, open Terminal and run: xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/SpaceCraftingFree.app — then open the app again. (Adjust the path if you put the app somewhere else.)

Ubuntu / Debian (.deb)

Usually you can double‑click spacecrafting-free_1.0.0_amd64.deb and the default software app (Ubuntu Software, Software Install, etc.) will open so you can click Install.

If that does not work, open Terminal, cd into the folder where the file downloaded (often Downloads), then run:

cd ~/Downloads
sudo apt install ./spacecrafting-free_1.0.0_amd64.deb

If you use plain dpkg and see dependency errors, run sudo apt-get install -f afterward.

Fedora (.rpm)

Usually you can double‑click spacecrafting-free-1.0.0-1.fc43.x86_64.rpm and GNOME Software (or similar) will offer to install it.

If that does not work, open Terminal, go to your download folder, then run:

cd ~/Downloads
sudo dnf install ./spacecrafting-free-1.0.0-1.fc43.x86_64.rpm
